Rub A Dub Style Brings Authentic Caribbean Flavour to the Atlanta Reggae Scene

Every second Sunday of the month, reggae enthusiasts  can look forward to the Rub-A-Dub authentic reggae party promoted by  Kahlil Wonda of Highlanda Sound and The Honorary Citizen. The event held at WildPitch Music Hall at 255 Trinity Avenue downtown Atlanta  is a

nightlife event that includes many sub-genres of reggae music including ska, rocksteady, lovers rock, Roots, dub and dancehall with live DJ sets and live music performances.’

The 2BK team had the pleasure of experiencing the Bob Marley tribute event on February 12th that showcased a live performance by IJAHKNOWAH and the B.R.A.P. Band followed by musical sessions from some of Atlanta’s top DJ’s including Highlanda Sound, DJ Passport, Black Magic, Natural Vibes and Innocent Sounds. It was a musical treat with conscious music flowing through the air, good vibes from all the patrons, a well stocked bar and not to mention the tasty food from Webba’s Jerk Hut . We’re counting down to the next!
