What Shelly-Ann Fraser-Price did for her personal brand and brand Jamaica at the World Championships this week was unprecedented. She arguably became the greatest female sprinter in history by winning an unprecedented 5^th 100 metre world championship at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon this week.

History was created at the same time, when the rare moment of all 3 medals were won by one country, the Jamaicans Shelly-Ann Gold, Shericka Jackson Silver & Elaine Thompson-Herah  – Bronze. Shelly-Ann ran the 3^rd fastest time in history at 10.67. With this victory Shelly-Ann has now won 19 Gold, 7 Silver and 2 Bronze medals.
