Legendary Dancehall dance (Dutty Wine) gets renewed attention after Super Bowl

For the second time at a Super Bowl halftime show, the Dutty Wine was incorporated in the choreography by an international superstar. In 2013, Beyonce performed it to her hit song, Baby Boy (a collab with Sean Paul). Last Sunday, it was Jennifer Lopez. Bp Renegades has retained its lead in the National Panorama competition topping the semi-final round three points ahead of pan rival Desperadoes with an aggregate of 279 points. The defending champion playing a Duvone Stewart arrangement of Batson/George/Galt/Hilsmeier/Henry collaboration of “Hookin Meh” vocalized by Farmer Nappy performed at position four in the large band category. . SpiceMas Corporation Retracts Ban on Thongs and GStrings

Organizers of Carnival in Grenada had earlier taken the decision to ban all G-strings and thongs however, Spicemas Corporation has since retracted their earlier statement and opened up the celebrations to its usual relatively unrestricted free-fun and frollick according to Loop TT. Mr. Killa Retracts From International Soca Monarch Competition

Hollis Mapp, better known by his sobriquet, ‘Mr Killa’, will not be defending his title as Soca Monarch in 2020.
