This week’s Karibbean Kreative On The Rise is the award winning mixed media artiste –Andrea McKenzie from Trinidad and Tobago.

Mckenzie utilizes a variety of contrast, textures, fabrics, and materials to produce mesmerizing, multi-dimensional art pieces. She’s collaborated with Akon and Euphoria actress, Sydney Sweeney, and won multiple awards such as the “Black I AM Power, Art and Creativity Award” and the Vanguard Award 2020 for excellence in Art. Mckenzie is inspiring young female artists every day with her colorful pieces and gorgeous outfits.

Andrea is an example of a kreative who found her niche , applied laser focus and dominated her lane completely. Her art has been featured at celebrity auctions including the office of the Atlanta mayor , she has collaborated on projects with the likes of Akon and most recently is being featured at an exhibition at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center until March 31st.
