Trinidadian Singer And Songwriter- JWVE Releases His Debut Album ‘Kultyah Shock’

Trinidadian Singer/Songwriter JWVE has released his long-awaited debut album, Kultyah Shock.

On May 25 May 2019, JWVE backed by his full band delivered an intense and electrifying performance at his album launch held at the Skyview Lounge, Cascadia Hotel, St. Anns, Trinidad. This long-anticipated launch saw the likes of an amazing cast of guest artists such as Marge Blackman (daughter of the inventor of Soca, the late Great Ras Shorty I), Nathanael, Candice Caton, Daniel Griffith, Jiselle Singer, Le-Ah, Noche Blanca, Greg B. and Aaron Ifill. JWVE’s nine (9) track album of his original music will take you on a journey of many moods, from pure energy & excitement to positive declarations and love, all infused by a mix of several sounds and genres.

JWVE stands out from the crowd with his multi-genre fusion catalog. He is a piano player who understands the various nuances of music. He is also very determined to bring forward clean, relevant and socially conscious content in an engaging and relevant way as is evidenced from music like ‘Light Up This World,’ and ‘I Declare War.’ JWVE [Pronounced J-WAVE] definitely has a unique contribution to add to the Caribbean musical landscape. This Trinidad born Singer, Songwriter, Pianist and arranger is a breath of fresh air for the Caribbean and International Music, skillfully fusing the flavor of the islands with the rest of the universe to create his own sound.
